Tomas and I, Loveland Pass

Tomas and I, Loveland Pass
Jordan and I took a quick vacation out to Moab, Utah. Aside from when I was a rebellious teenager and refused to get out of the motorhome, I had never been there. The whole place kind of felt like I was on the set of The Land before Time, very surreal. Anyway, here are two photos.

“I’m pushing an elephant up the stairs,
I’m tossing at punchlines that were never there.
Over my shoulder a piano falls, crashing to the ground.
I’m breaking through,
I’m bending spoons,
I’m keeping flowers in full bloom.
I’m looking for answers from the great beyond.”
R.E.M, The Great Beyond
here are a few of the strange oddities of the last few days. I’m chocking it up to the full moon or something.
-right now, it is sunny and snowing, at the same time.
-the other night, i saw 4 foxes in a matter of two minutes. What they were doing, I don’t know but I have seen like 2 foxes in the whole year i have lived here so it seemed rather strange.
-i bought a pair of jeans yesterday.
“I sensed my loss before I even learned to speak,
and all along I knew it was wrong,
but I played along, with my birthday song.
Holding back the fool again.
Holding back the fool pretends.
I forget to forget. Nothing is important.
Holding back the fool again.”
-Smashing Pumpkins, To forgive

This is just after my mom’s stunning victory at her first triathelon. She’s the hot muscle woman on the right.
